Dear Friends in Christ,
I would like to share an update with you. I have recently completed my third chemotherapy treatment. While I do feel very tired in the days immediately following treatment, thanks be to God, I grow stronger with each passing day. I am truly grateful that my side effects have not been too difficult.
Your kind words, thoughts, cards, and most especially your prayers mean more to me than I could ever express. Please know how deeply I appreciate each act of love and support - it has been a true source of strength and consolation.
I also want to offer a heartfelt word of gratitude to Fr. Manny, Fr. Mike, Fr. Tom Gross, and Fr. AJ for their generous care and willingness to assist me at any time. Their priestly kindness is a great blessing.
May God bless you all for walking with me on this journey in faith and love.
With gratitude in Christ.
Fr. Shawn

Prayer for St. John Paul II
Roman Catholic Church
Good and Gracious God...
We thank you for having graced the Church with St. John Paul II. Grant us, by his intercession, and according to Your will, the graces we implore as we strive to build a new parish community.
Hear our prayers for our new Church. Send forth your Spirit that we may humbly be guided by Your Divine Will. Touch our hearts with true generosity to raise up a house of God for the inspiration and renewal of all Your faithful.
We ask this in Jesus’ Name... AMEN

Jubilee Year 2025
The Late Pope Francis recently proclaimed 2025 to be a Jubilee Year...and invited all Catholics to embark on a journey as "Pilgrims of Hope". The symbol of the Jubilee year is "Opening the Door". What exactly does this mean... and exactly should this mean to YOU? It will be different for each individual. Whether you journey to Rome...or to "home"...may this be a year of deep spiritual renewal for each of us. Learn more about this Jubilee Year through the link to the US Conference of Catholic Bishops website www.usccb.org
